Job Description
Randstad is hiring 1st Shift Forklift Drivers for a logistics warehouse in New Berlin, WI. Forklift Operators will be committed to transporting high-quality products must be reliable and hardworking with a good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment experience with forklifts is preferred.
salary: $20 - $21.12 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick, etc. Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers. Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch and quantity. Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork. Sort outbound freight based on carrier lane assignments. Over-box pallets, wrap pallets and strap pallets in preparation for shipment. Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock. Keeping shipping supplies organized and communication on supply needs Daily forklift inspection sheet completed prior to operation of forklift .Complete other duties or tasks as assigned
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
- working weekends
