The Corporate Finance team provides a broad range of timely, accurate, relevant, and objective financial information, advice, and services to its business partners, while adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards. Corporate Finance includes all infrastructural financial functions such as Corporate Accounting, Global Payments, Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Financial Reporting.
About The Corporate Finance Internship The Corporate Finance internship at Point72 provides individuals interested in pursuing a career in Finance at an investment firm with a valuable, hands-on experience. During the 10-week program based in our Stamford office, you will gain exposure to:
- Knowledge of the fast paced and competitive hedge fund world in which Point72 operates.
- Deep understanding of the infrastructure and operations of a hedge fund, and the role of the Corporate Finance team’s ability to report and analyze trends, account for complex transactions, and manage our network of external vendor relationships, efficiently and effectively.
- Collaboration with other colleagues and senior-level professionals on day-to-day needs such as the month-end close process, investor risk reports, and consolidating monthly financial packages.
- Intensive mentoring by finance professionals dedicated to investing in your success.
- Training sessions focused on developing Excel, writing, and presentation skills.
Summer Internship Program at Point72

What’s Required - Expected Bachelor’s degree (Fall 2025 or Spring 2026)

- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team
