Our client is looking to fill a new Accounts Payable position. They are a well established manufacturer based in St. Louis and Belleville, IL. The role is in-office and has a target base salary of $55,000 to $60,000 before bonus plus full benefits. Candidates need to have an Associates degree (A.S./A.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Accounting; or a minimum of 3-5 year(s) related experience and/or training. Position Summary

Compiles, processes,

and maintains accounts payable records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

· Verify approval on all invoices and check requests in compliance with the corporate Authorized Approval Manual guidelines

· Coding invoices across multiple brands and/or companies

· Familiar with foreign currency

· Able to process and enter 300-500 invoices per week

· Process accounts payable checks, as well as ACH payments

· Match invoices to remittance and file

· Reconciles vendor statements

· Maintains account payable vendor files

· Open mail and distribute

· Order office supplies

· Coordinate office related functions

· Special projects as assigned
