Job Description
We are seeking a Chief Enterprise Risk Officer to oversee and manage coordination, development and oversight of the ERM program and risk management activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could potentially impact on the organization's operations and objectives.
**Responsibilities: **
- Responsible for all aspects of Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Fraud, Insurance, Legal and Operational Risk functions.
- Remains current on changes within the legal, regulatory, economic, competitive, technology environments.
- Responsible for compliance with all Federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
- Develop and maintain an enterprise risk management framework, policies, and procedures. Ensure appropriately documents and updates overall risk assessments.
- Advises and consults with all levels of management regarding the need to implement appropriate risk management practices at enterprise level and within business units.
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Manages the Credit Union's insurance relationships and ensures time filing of any claims.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on risk management practices.
- Ensures the Director of Risk and Compliance is reporting, in a timely manner, on changes or updates to any federal, state, or NCUA rules and regulations and how these changes may affect CCCU. Ensures the Director of Risk and Compliance is effectively communicating these changes or updates to the appropriate chief or department head in a timely, cohesive manner to safeguard against potential losses or mitigate reputation risk.
- Ensure the Information Security Officer is identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining processes across the organization to reduce information security risks.
- Ensures the Director of Risk and Compliance is conducting reviews to ensure CCCU follows all federal, state, and NCUA rules and regulations.
- Effectively challenge the activities and decisions that materially affect the organization's risk profile.
- Provide a cohesive and collaborative risk environment to ensure effective and efficient risk and compliance oversight.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in enterprise risk management, with a minimum of ten (10) years in risk, audit and / or compliance combined with a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and best practices. Ongoing ability to keep abreast of changing policies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified Risk Professional (CRP) are a plus - Proficient knowledge of risk analysis techniques and theories, with a strong understanding of regulatory environments affecting the financial industry.
- Proficient knowledge of financial industry operations.
- A combination of internal audit and IT audit training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the functions of the position.
- Must become thoroughly familiar with the NCUA Rules and Regulations, and CCCU policies, procedures and systems operations.
- Must be able to handle multiple complex, competing deadlines
