About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Lending Officer/EVP to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sales and lending efforts across commercial, specialty, and consumer lending, with a focus on maintaining the existing loan portfolio and meeting production targets. This role involves nurturing the current referral base, developing new channels, and ensuring a friendly and welcoming experience for customers. The Chief Lending Officer will also provide leadership and coaching to all lenders, manage the lending team, and oversee the lending pipeline for various loan types. Additionally, the role includes managing loan requests, delinquency, and working closely with senior management to address major issues within the sales teams. Applicants for the Chief Lending Officer/EVP position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance, with a Master of Business Administration preferred. A minimum of 10 years' commercial banking experience, including at least 5 years' in commercial credit review or commercial credit, is required. Direct lending and lending/sales management experience, as well as a background in consumer lending, are ideal. The role demands a candidate with demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in the Windows Office Suite. The Chief Lending Officer will also be expected to have strong problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities, and to be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
