Job Description
Southern Construction Staffing is currently hiring Construction Laborers, Demo Personnel and Heavy Equipment Operators for various sites in the Tampa area to include Pinellas and Pasco Counties.
Qualifications
•Ability to receive written or oral instructions
•Establish and maintain effective working relationship with field and office personnel
•Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety, looking out for yourself and others
•Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times
•Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots
•Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile
Responsibilities
•Unload and carry materials at construction sites
•Clean up site from debris and discarded material
•Ability to erect concrete forms and scaffolding preferred but not mandatory
•Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment•
Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance
