Company Overview

Our client is seeking a Data Scientist to join their Data Science & AI team, focusing on pharmaceutical analytics and real-world data insights. In this client-facing role, you’ll work closely with pharmaceutical clients to uncover critical insights that drive business decisions across commercial, clinical trials, and medical domains. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data science, healthcare, and behavioral analytics, tackling real-world challenges such as patient engagement, healthcare mistrust, and access to care.

Position Overview

As a Data Scientist, you’ll play a crucial role in analyzing patient journeys and delivering impactful insights to clients across clinical trials, media, and commercial healthcare entities. This position is both technical and consultative, requiring hands-on data analysis, client engagement, and strategic problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with pharma clients to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
• Apply predictive analytics, regression modeling, and statistical techniques to uncover insights.
• Conduct descriptive and geospatial analytics to support market and revenue optimization strategies.
• Work on commercial analytics, leveraging real-world data (RWD) to enhance decision-making.
• Use human-centered data approaches to analyze patient journeys and barriers to healthcare access.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Product & R&D, to collect, analyze, and refine datasets.
• Develop data-driven business cases and translate complex insights into clear, compelling presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support business development efforts through consulting, data analysis, and presentation development.

Your Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data science, with a strong emphasis on pharma analytics.
• Proven client-facing experience, with the ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Expertise in predictive modeling, statistical techniques, and regression analysis.
• Proficiency in Databricks, Python, R, and SQL for statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Experience analyzing real-world healthcare data with a focus on human behavior and patient engagement.
• Deep understanding of commercial analytics within clinical trials, medical, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work in a fast-paced, analytical environment.
• Master’s degree required; PhD is a plus.
