Eagle Ridge Academy is seeking a dedicated Cross Country Coach.

Reports to: Athletic Director
Supervises: Students participating in the Cross Country program
Compensation: $1,000.00/season (Assistant Coach) - $2,200/season (Head Coach) – commensurate with experience and educatio n
Responsibilities:
Supervision and coaching of student-athletes at all levels of the program.
Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training to help them achieve both individual growth and learning success.
Develop and build a competitive sports program aligned with ERA’s core values, fostering both athletic excellence and character development.
Work with the Athletic Director and Assistant to the Athletic Director, parents, and coaches to schedule athletic departure times and provide transportation supervision.
Plan and host award banquets, camps, and conditioning events.
Responsible for all equipment and uniform issuance, collection, and storage.
Communicate with the Athletic Director about student athletes’ needs, incidents, and all other concerns related to the program.
Communicate with the coaching staff, athletes, parents, and the community.
Knowledge of CHSAA rules for High School basketball.
Program fundraising
Will follow league, district, and CHSAA policies and regulations.
Provide accurate and feasible budget information to the Athletic Director.
Other duties as assigned.
Applicants must have a minimum of one year of experience coaching high school-aged young adults. Must complete the CHSAA coaching form, pass CHSAA’s coaching test (please see -corner.aspx for more information), and go through CHSAA’s concussion training. Applicants must be able to successfully pass a background check performed by the school.
