Job Details: Currently seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to join a full- service mechanical & electrical contracting company in the Detroit area. This role is responsible for installing (commissioning), troubleshooting, repairing, and programming environmental control systems. Responsibilities:

• Install and configure HVAC control systems, ensuring proper functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC control systems, identifying and resolving problems efficiently.
• Program and reprogram HVAC control systems to meet specific requirements and optimize performance.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC control systems and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal operation.
• Calibrate sensors and other components of HVAC control systems for accurate readings and efficient energy utilization.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of HVAC control systems to verify proper installation and functionality.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all HVAC control system activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MUST HAVE:

• 1-2 + years’ experience in Building Automation HVAC Controls
• Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Honeywell, or others

NICE TO HAVE:

• Tridium Niagara
• Associate’s degree in related engineeringtechnology field required, bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
