Job Description:
The maestro who keeps everything in line. A quality kitchen manager has great leadership & communication skills, a willingness to learn and grow, and take accountability for the operation of the kitchen. A kitchen manager needs to be running tight with their General Manager and support their kitchen staff in any way possible.

Job Responsibilities:

• food ordering/quality check upon arrival
• communication with various vendors
• managing labor/food budgets
• following up with kitchen staff to make sure job requirements are met
• communication of any items needed for kitchen staff to complete their job duties
• catering/event planning
• support of line cooks/sushi team/prep team (filling in/helping where needed)
• Hiring of BOH team
• must know all stations throughly
• quality, team-serving leadership that keeps the culture of teamwork & high standards in place
• leading by example

Job Qualifications:

• at least 3 years in kitchen management role required
• basic technology skills required (for scheduling, managing labor/food costs, ordering, etc)
• must be able to lift at least 50lbs
• teamwork & communication are a MUST
