Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers? We are looking for energetic and dedicated teachers to guide children through engaging, online coding lessons. As an Online Coding Teacher, you will introduce children aged 6-14 to the exciting world of technology, empowering them with essential coding skills and creativity.
You'll work with a structured, STEM.org-certified curriculum, where you'll deliver 60-minute lessons that teach core coding principles and encourage students to think critically and collaborate. The lessons are designed and provided by our expert team, allowing you to focus on fostering a supportive and fun learning environment. This is a contractor position that offers flexible hours and the ability to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging online coding lessons to children aged 6-14
Inspire creativity and collaboration among students
Help children understand coding concepts and their real-world applications
Follow lesson plans and curriculum provided by the internal team
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued
Encourage students to explore and develop their own creative coding projects
Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and succeed
Qualifications & Requirements:
You should apply if you:
Are passionate about working with children and encouraging them to be creative
Have a strong interest in technology and coding
Are comfortable using technology and proficient in online teaching tools
Have experience or confidence in working with children aged 6-14
Can break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations
Are adaptable and able to think on your feet in a dynamic learning environment
Currently reside in the United States
Are available to commit 5-15 hours per week
Desirable Skills (but not essential):
Knowledge of coding or a computer science qualification
Experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities
Teaching experience or qualifications, especially in a classroom setting
Familiarity with lesson planning and delivery
Previous online tutoring or teaching experience
