RECRUITER

Position based in New York City (not remote).

The Recruiter is responsible for the introduction of the brand to job seekers. Through creative efforts related to branding and attraction, the role of the recruiter is to remain knowledgeable of the competing brands. Maintains a high level of organization and strong communication with the stores to better understand challenges and opportunities in the process and profile. Identifies quality candidates through multiple channels of sourcing, confirms their qualifications and makes the appropriate recommendations for them to join the company in open roles. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing a strong candidate experience throughout the interview and onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops strategy each season to meet the needs of the business
  • Aligns goals and objectives with company vision each season
  • Proactive approach to secure talent for now and the future through sourcing, building and maintaining a pipeline of potential candidates using various resources and platforms
  • Maintains strong knowledge of market competition and resources including but not limited to workforce development, school and universities
  • Creates passive strategies for “always on” branding and attraction
  • Thoroughly screens resumes and conducts first round interviews to explain open roles
  • Assesses necessary skillsets of potential candidates both technical and behavioral qualifications
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast paced high volume environment
  • Coordinates the interview process between the internal client and candidate; ensuring strong communication at each touch point
  • Refreshes knowledge periodically and actively seeks continued learning for their own development including but not limited to developing an extended external network
  • Prioritizes relationships with HR Managers, regional teams and stores to understand the realities of each situation through constant communication
  • Other projects delegated by Recruitment Manager

Qualifications:

  • Min. 3 years of experience in retail management
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of store’s operations and organization
  • Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of Spanish is a plus)
  • Proficient level of MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Initiative to identify problems and opportunities to be proactive
  • Team player and ability to work autonomously when needed
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Quick learner, able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Flexibility and problem solving attitude

Annual compensation range: $59,000 - $95,000 + discretionary annual bonus
