The Opportunity: Location: Field Support Center (FSC), San Francisco Your role at Sephora: As the Senior Director for Sephora Collection North America, you will lead brand strategy and execution for Sephora USA, Sephora at Kohl’s, and Sephora Canada. You will be responsible for achieving the retail sales targets and profit for the brand. This role involves ensuring the seamless execution of product launches, animations, promotions, and financial performance. You will collaborate closely with the Sephora Collection global team based in Paris; and, you will be the “center of the wheel” across multiple teams at Sephora FSC including, but not limited to, the North American Sephora Merchandising, Marketing, Inventory Management & Retail teams to drive the business. Reporting into the VP of Merchandising Strategy with dual reporting into the Global General Manager for Sephora Collection, you will manage and lead a team while setting clear direction and deploying resources to achieve financial targets. In addition, you will: Adapt, develop, and execute brand strategies for the North American market that support the brand’s global priorities and those of the retailer. Communicate and gain support and buy-in to the brand’s global strategic vision with business partners and provide regular updates to executive leadership. Monitor and communicate retailer and industry trends, identify white space opportunities for the brand, and advocate for North American product requests from the retailer with the global team. Own negotiations of the North American Sephora Collection financial targets, informing & collaborating with global partners along the process. Ensure top line sales targets are achieved throughout North America while maximizing profitability by controlling expenses in line with established budgets. Oversee and actively manage budgets, forecasts, & resource allocation plans to support sales growth. Provide weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting to leaders and executive teams. Lead the North American Sephora Collection brand team & serve as primary contact for the Sephora Collection Global Leadership Team based in Paris. Build and develop strong productive relationships with cross-functional partners globally and throughout the North American region. Represent the brand with the ability to flex to a wide variety of settings ranging from executive meetings to informal working sessions with business partners. Actively support, coach, and develop direct reports; ensuring the team has clear role expectations as well as a personalized development plan. High-level problem solving and analytical skills with good judgment. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to travel (Domestic and international up to 30%). The annual base salary range for this position is $164,000.00- $218,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
