Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage tax engagements, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely preparation of client deliverables.
2. Advise clients on complex tax matters, providing strategic guidance to optimize tax outcomes.
3. Supervise and mentor tax staff, fostering their development and ensuring adherence to professional standards.
4. Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
5. Conduct technical tax reviews and oversee compliance with tax laws and regulations.
6. Represent clients during audits and examinations, effectively communicating with taxing authorities.
7. Participate in the firm’s practice development efforts through networking, referrals, and community involvement.

Qualifications

1. 8+ years of public accounting experience with increasing tax complexity and responsibility.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising tax professionals.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
4. A current and valid CPA license is mandatory.
5. Strong technical knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and planning.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Salary : $190,000 - $230,000 per year.
