We are seeking reliable and experienced Unarmed Security Officers to work a special event with us from 3/6-3/11. These unarmed security officers will patrol and secure the assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. THIS IS A TEMPORARY SPECIAL EVENT POSITION WITH A PAY RATE OF $23/HR.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Qualifications :

• Candidates MUST Maryland Guard Card
• Required at least 2 years of prior security experience
• Must be capable of meeting physical requirements such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining a violent person, lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs
• Strong attention to detail
• First Aid and CPR/AED certified
