Robert Half is partnering with a private real estate development company that is expanding and seeking a commercial real estate paralegal to join its legal team in its Miami, FL headquarters. This real estate paralegal will report into the General Counsel and will be responsible for commercial real estate matters. Base salary up to $180,000 plus bonus, full benefits, generous PTO, 401k contribution.

Job duties:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, from contract negotiation and loan commitments to closing and post-closing activities.
• Conduct due diligence for commercial real estate transactions, including reviewing title and survey documents, drafting title objection letters, analyzing leases, and conducting municipal lien, UCC, judgment, litigation, and lien searches.
• Prepare organizational documents and facilitate entity formation.
• Develop closing checklists, manage critical deadlines, and coordinate title commitments, title policies, closing statements, and other essential closing documentation.
• Oversee the preparation of closing binders and provide transactional support as needed, both locally and nationally.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Commercial Real Estate paralegal experience in a medium/big law firm or in house legal department.
• Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to track an acquisition from initial contact through closing
• Demonstrate an ability to meet strict deadlines, with multiple projects while maintaining organized project files
• Ability to handle a high volume of work, prioritize appropriately, and work independently with minimal supervision.
