We are on the lookout for an energetic and experienced Consulting Quality Management Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing quality control and assurance processes, ensuring that our healthcare services meet the highest standards. This role will require a strong understanding of appeals and grievances, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving patient care.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Quality Management Coordinator, you will:
1. Coordinate and manage quality assurance and control processes, ensuring that all healthcare services meet the necessary standards and requirements.
2. Analyze and evaluate patient care data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
3. Handle appeals and grievances, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and management teams to develop and implement quality improvement plans and initiatives.
5. Conduct regular audits and inspections, identifying any issues and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
6. Provide training and guidance to healthcare staff on quality control processes and procedures.
7. Monitor and report on quality control metrics, providing regular updates to management teams.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and regulations, ensuring that our healthcare services are always in compliance.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of a Associates Degree or higher.
2. At least 2+ years of experience in quality management or a similar role within the healthcare industry.
3. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
4. Proven experience in handling appeals and grievances.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with healthcare professionals at all levels.
7. Proficiency in using various software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
8. A strong commitment to improving patient care and the overall quality of healthcare services.
9. Certification in healthcare quality (e.g. CPHQ) is preferred but not mandatory.
