We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Shipping Leader/Painter for 2nd shift.

Job Description: The Shipping Leader/Painter will be responsible for safely moving structural steel materials throughout the shop, preparing and loading trailers, and learning to apply industrial coatings using a paint sprayer. This position requires attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead cranes to safely move steel materials within the shop and load trailers.
• Utilize hard-tire forklifts to transport materials as needed.
• Prepare and load structural steel onto trailers for delivery.
• Learn and perform industrial painting using a paint sprayer; training will be provided.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow all safety protocols, including participating in required respirator fit testing.
• Support the team with additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating overhead cranes to move heavy steel materials.
• Proficiency in operating hard-tire forklifts.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
• Prior experience with industrial paint spraying is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
